After submitting countless resumés without so much as even a call back, you’re understandably a little frustrated. The job market is tight, but people you know have found jobs, and good ones too, with less effort than you. So what makes them more recruitable than you? The men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces are out there on the front lines serving our country day in and day out. They put their lives on the line to serve the United States and deserve tribute from us. They also put their careers on hold in order to protect the interests of freedom and democracy. Active military service presents unique challenges for those who want to serve the country, but want a private sector career as well.
There’s just no way around it–computers are a fact of life. Practically everything today has some computer technology built in and the global infrastructure is increasingly reliant on computers to operate. Every industry and every field rely on computers to some degree for success. The good news is that the more computers there are, the more computer-related jobs there are for qualified individuals.
